Overview:Lighthouse Lab Services is partnering with a respected hospital system in Danville, PA, to find a skilled Analytical Specialist for their Toxicology Department. This role offers a consistent day shift schedule and the opportunity to be a key part of a collaborative clinical laboratory team.As an Analytical Specialist, you will be responsible for the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of toxicological samples using state-of-the-art instrumentation. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong analytical chemistry or toxicology backgrounds looking to apply their skills in a clinical setting.Key Responsibilities:Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of biological specimens for drugs of abuse, therapeutic drugs, and other toxicological substancesOperate and maintain advanced laboratory instrumentation, including LC-MS/MS and GC-MS systemsValidate and troubleshoot analytical methods in accordance with laboratory and regulatory standardsEnsure accuracy and integrity of test results through appropriate QC/QA measuresPrepare reagents, standards, and controls; maintain inventory of laboratory suppliesAssist with laboratory inspections and ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and hospital-specific regulationsCollaborate with clinical and laboratory staff to interpret and report resultsMaintain accurate and timely documentation of all procedures and resultsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Toxicology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field required1–3 years of experience in a toxicology or clinical laboratory preferredExperience with LC-MS/MS strongly preferredKnowledge of laboratory safety and regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP, etc.)Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and documentation skillsWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly pay ($25–$35/hr, based on experience)Day shift schedule – work/life balanceOpportunity to work in a cutting-edge clinical lab with a supportive teamCareer growth opportunities within a hospital-based settingAbout Us:At Lighthouse Lab Services, we offer solutions to help start, grow, and run clinical laboratories.
