Make an impact in healthcare and grow your career with Team AgilitiThe Medical Equipment Technician II provides cost-effective maintenance on company and customer-owned medical equipment to ensure it is functioning properly following manufacturer specifications. They perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair service under the guidance of a qualified Biomedical Equipment Technician or supervisor.What is in It for You?The opportunity to learn about the Healthcare industry and make a real impact on patients’ lives.Comprehensive Benefits Package.Tuition Reimbursement.Up to a 3% match on your 401K.Make any day a pay day with Daily Pay.What You Will Do in This RoleConduct cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on various medical devices including medical beds, infusion pumps, patient monitoring equipment, etc.Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure complete documentation for billing and regulatory compliance. Communicate with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features, functionality, etc.What You Will Need for This RoleHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Proficiency in both movable medical equipment (MME) and patient handling equipment (PHE).Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license. Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.Demonstrated understanding of the requirements for servicing medical devices.Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as needed to support a 24/7 schedule.Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.The ability to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds.The ability to often bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.Primary Job Location:Detroit DistrictAdditional Locations (if applicable):Job Title:Medical Equipment Technician IICompany:AgilitiLocation City:WixomLocation State:Michigan
