Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Laboratory Informatics and Technology Associate Analyst, Full-Time, to join our team in Orlando, FL (preferred) or Wilmington, DE.As a member of the Lab Informatics team, this position will provide Epic support for lab operations and clinical stakeholders for the Nemours enterprise. They will support workflows and help develop lab application strategies for the Nemours enterprise. This position is responsible for providing direct support to end users in efficiently and accurately utilizing LHI&T applications, technology, and electronic medical records. These applications, technology, and electronic medical records consist of multiple applications including, but not limited to, Beaker Clinical Pathology, Beaker Anatomic Pathology, Data Innovations, QML, and Softbank as well as a number of lab instruments and associated applications. Associate Analysts participate in building, testing and validating new functionality and engage in custom configuration activities. Associate Analysts perform in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues associated with clinical applications. The Associate Analyst should have the ability to recognize opportunities for process improvement and optimization activities designed to create more knowledgeable end users. The role of this position includes acting as a change agent, educator and resource in advancing the strategic mission of Nemours, while advancing knowledge and avoidance of data and systems integrity risks.This is a hybrid position (both onsite and remote). The role of this position includes acting as a change agent, educator and resource in advancing the strategic mission of Nemours, while advancing knowledge and avoidance of data and systems integrity risks.Achieve and maintain application-specific certification in accordance with vendor requirements. Provide on-call support and first line support to end users with the goal of enhancing and elevating proficiency in the use of medical and research laboratory informatics applications, technology, and the electronic medical record.Conduct business and clinical workflow analysis and assess the need for workflow redesign and process improvement.Assist in configuring medical and research lab software applications, technology, and the electronic medical record to meet the requirements of operational departments while maintaining and promoting enterprise standards.Provide support for lab applications, technology, and the electronic medical record, including project scoping, implementation, and daily management of issues, updates, and enhancements.Participate in the evaluation, testing, and validation of new release and upgrade functionality.Develop project management skills and utilize project management methodology in daily work to ensure the achievement of project goals.May lead projects impacting multiple teams.Facilitate change and employ change management methods in advancing innovation, technology, and decision support.Completes work assignments by following procedures and policies, using data and resources, collaborating with others to address business problems, adhering to established priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicating progress and information; occasionally identifying and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and escalating issues or risks as appropriate.Respond to assigned Service Now tickets within the defined timeframes.Job Requirements: Associate's Degree required.Internal candidates only: Equivalent work experience may be considered for internal candidates in lieu of education requirements.Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years' experience required.Minimum of one (1) year experience in a healthcare setting preferred.Prior Laboratory clinical experience, Healthcare Operation or IT experience required.If ASCP Certified MLS must maintain certification.Achieve and maintain one or more application specific certifications in accordance with vendor requirements required. Certification in Epic module as required to support the application is required after hire.Strong software and application knowledge.Project Management experience preferred.#LI-EP1
