Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Sales Manager to join our sales team. The Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for assisting the Sales Manager with leadership of the sales team, including coordinating with sales reps and the sales manager, providing superior customer service, managing KPIs, and assisting with day-to-day operations, as needed. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading a team and a passion for driving growth, success and customer satisfaction. This role will also require a willingness to travel as needed to support sales efforts and customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support territory manager
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with major accounts
  • Assist with CRM management
  • Develop targeted sales strategies for CSC Middletown
  • Assist in developing and performing sales team training
  • Assist with developing and promoting product support sales
  • Support Sales Manager with the creation of customer quotes
  • Attend regional events (associations, municipalities, etc.)
  • Identify strategies to compete with regional competitors and promotional programs
  • Other duties as requested by Sales Manager


Required Experience / Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of sales experience
  • Proven experience managing a team of 5 or more
  • Must be a self-starter who demonstrates the ability to adapt
  • Strong written / verbal communication and collaboration skills
  • Results driven
  • Ability to work alone, and lead others in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and dedication to performing at your best every day
  • A pre-employment drug screen is required
