The OpportunityDescriptionAssistant Property Manager – Tax Credit Housing (Gaithersburg, MD) Pay:$26.00/hour (based on experience) Schedule:Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focusedAssistant Property Managerto support a residential community inGaithersburg, MD. The ideal candidate will have astrong work history with demonstrated tenure, provenTax Credit housing experience, and excellent leasing and resident service skills. This role requires someone who is amultitasker, bilingual (English/Spanish preferred), and highly organized, with experience handlingrecertificationsand administrative functions while maintaining professional, resident-focused service. Responsibilities Assist the Property Manager with daily operations of the community Handlerecertifications, leasing, and resident retentioninitiatives Provide exceptional customer service while resolving resident concerns in a professional manner Process applications and ensure compliance with all Tax Credit program requirements Support budget management, reporting, and administrative functions Maintain accurate resident files and documentation Collaborate with team members to meet occupancy and compliance goals Experience Required for Your SuccessQualifications Tax Credit housing experience required(LIHTC) Demonstratedtenure and stabilityin prior roles Strong leasing background with proven closing ability Experience completing recertifications and compliance paperwork Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Bilingual required(English/Spanish preferred) Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills Benefits Competitive hourly pay at$26/hour Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans Paid time off and holidays Career development and training opportunities About the Company Founded in 1963,Wingate Companiesis an award-winning property management firm specializing in both affordable and market-rate housing throughout the East Coast.
