RVT or LVT

Aggie Animal Clinic - Looking for an experienced RVT/LVT to join our small, but busy, clinic in the heart of downtown Dixon, Ca.Tasks include:- Inductions and Recovery- Anesthetic monitoring & Surgical assisting- Drawing up narcotics for surgical procedures or sedations- Filling controlled medication prescribed by a veterinarian.- Dental and general radiography- Minor bandaging - Venipuncture, collecting samples & in-house lab sample processing.- Vaccinations, takes vital signs, SQ treatments, SQ injections, IM injections, IV injections, placing IV catheters.- Maintaining records: Entering medical notes, entering charges, requesting out-side lab samples, discharge surgical instructions, etc.- Cleans animal cages and equipment and prep surgery room/dental suite- Some front desk i.e. answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, surgical discharge, etc.Technicians at our clinic have the opportunity to work with canine, feline patients & occasional pocket pets. Requirements: 1 year of veterinary experience (w/in a veterinary clinic/hospital) + veterinary technician license. Flexible work schedule.
