Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Technician to join our healthcare team in Grand Prairie, United States. As a vital member of our physical therapy department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our physical therapists and providing exceptional care to our patients.Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and delivering high-quality patient carePrepare treatment areas and set up therapy equipment for patient sessionsDemonstrate exercises and guide patients through prescribed therapeutic activitiesApply hot and cold packs, and other modalities as directed by the physical therapistMaintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environmentAssist patients with mobility and transfers as neededDocument patient progress and communicate effectively with the therapy teamPerform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phone callsEnsure proper maintenance and care of therapy equipmentCollaborate with the healthcare team to create a positive and supportive patient experienceQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCurrent enrollment in a physical or occupational therapy curriculum program preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and empathetic demeanorStrong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detailGenuine interest in helping people and a deep commitment to patient careAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentBasic understanding of human anatomy and physiologyAbility to follow instructions precisely and adhere to safety protocolsPhysical stamina to assist patients and handle therapy equipmentProficiency in using electronic health record systems and basic computer skillsCustomer-focused mindset with the ability to create a supportive environment for patientsFlexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needsCPR certification or willingness to obtainAdditional InformationGreen Oaks Physical Therapy values the well-being of our patients and employees.
