You will design and build the robust backend services and intuitive user interfaces that form the connective tissue between our trading, research, and operations teams. Your success will be measured not just by the robustness of the systems you architect, but by the exceptional, intuitive experiences you deliver to your colleagues.Responsibilities: Own and Build High-Impact Trading TechnologyOwn End-to-End Delivery: Architect, build, test, and deploy robust full stack applications essential to our operations, taking projects from concept through production.Build End-to-End Products: Take full ownership of the user experience by building both the clean, scalable backend APIs and the polished, intuitive frontends that consume them. Your work will directly empower traders, researchers, and operations staff.Champion an API-First Architecture: Lead the design of decoupled, scalable, and maintainable systems. Your work will directly reduce complexity and enable faster innovation across the firm.Collaborate & Solve: Partner with experienced colleagues to design and implement elegant, effective, and impactful solutions.Uphold Quality: Champion and implement engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD, monitoring, etc).You Bring: Technical Skill, Collaboration, and DriveEducation: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating strong technical foundations.Experience: A proven track record of 5+ years of professional experience building complex, full-stack applications.Skills:Full Stack Proficiency: A strong command of Python for backend services and Typescript for modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular).Backend & Systems Expertise: Proven experience designing and building scalable APIs and a deep understanding of microservice architecture, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).Problem-Solving & CS Fundamentals: Excellent analytical skills with a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.Ideal Profile:Product & User Empathy: You have a deep passion for building high-quality products. These ranges are representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Summit Securities Group. Which range a candidate fits into and where a candidate falls in the range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. These ranges represent Base Salary only, which is just one element of our total compensation.
