The Respiratory Therapist – RT monitors mechanical ventilation, administers medications, and completes patient assessments. The Respiratory Therapist – RT must understand ramifications of hemodynamic monitoring, reviews blood work results, monitor patient status, and participate in teaching and training. Respiratory Care Practitioners, RRT, Registered Respiratory Therapist, Certified Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Care Provider, RCP, RT Requirements: Education: Graduate of an AMA approved School of Respiratory Care. Licenses/Certification: Current credentials as a Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current licensure from state licensure agency. BLS & ACLS Certifications required. Experience: 1 year of respiratory care experience preferred.  Weekend Work Required: Yes  Safety Sensitive-Designated Position Salary/ Wage Range Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Your next shift could change a life.
