What's a typical day as an Inspector? You'll be: - Conducting a range of nondestructive testing techniques, including Magnetic Particle Testing, Liquid/Dye Penetrant Testing, Radiographic Gamma & X-ray Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, and Visual Inspection to assess material quality and detect discontinuities or defects. - Setting up and calibrating testing equipment accurately before inspections and measuring indications or defects using appropriate tools. - Establishing and following correct examination methods for inspected objects, ensuring consistent procedures and strict adherence to safety regulations. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: - Have familiarity with applicable safety standards and industry regulations. - Possess basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to handle tools and testing equipment. - Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical data.
