What's a typical day as a Facilities Maintenance Technician? You'll be: • Performing basic handyman tasks including repairs to fixtures, fittings, and furniture, reporting to the Facilities Manager. • Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) inspections as per schedule, including lighting checks and HVAC filter replacements. • Managing and supervising contractors on site to ensure safe systems of work are followed. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: • Have proven experience in a general maintenance or handyman role within a facilities or building services environment. • Possess a working knowledge of contractor management and permit-to-work systems. • Are able to carry out PPM inspections using checklists and basic tools, with a strong understanding of safety systems of work.
