OverviewAs a Golf Professional at a private club, you will be entrusted with delivering a personalized and elevated golf experience to a discerning membership and their guests. This role blends expert instruction, managing daily golf operations, operational oversight, and member engagement, all within a culture of excellence, enthusiasm and professionalism.Experience RequiredQualificationsPGA or LPGA membership or certification preferredStrong knowledge of golf instruction techniques and equipmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with golf management software and POS systemsDesired TraitsPassionate about growing the game of golfEnergetic, approachable, and service-orientedDetail-driven with a professional demeanorCreative in developing programs and engaging membersEssential ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesInstruction & CoachingProvide private and group lessons to players of all skill levelsConduct clinics, junior programs, and player development sessionsOffer club fitting and equipment recommendationsGolf OperationsAssist with tee time management, pace of play, and course etiquetteSupport tournament setup, scoring, and executionMonitor and maintain practice facilities and equipmentCustomer ServiceGreet and engage members and guests with a welcoming attitudeResolve member concerns and ensure a high standard of hospitalityRepresent the club professionally during events and outingsRetail & MerchandisingManage the golf shop, including inventory and salesRecommend merchandise and equipment based on player needsMaintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail spaceTeam CollaborationWork closely with other golf staff, grounds crew, and managementManage, train and mentor seasonal or junior staffContribute to marketing efforts and member engagement initiatives.Promote the game of golf to members and guests.
