A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students within a dynamic school setting located in Barre, VT. This contract position offers the chance to work onsite across multiple locations, including the main site in Cabot, as well as potential support roles at Twinfield and out-of-district placements in the Barre/Berlin area. This role focuses on delivering specialized speech therapy services in schools throughout the academic calendar year.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and maintain detailed documentation of student outcomes.Support communication development in pediatric and school settings, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to support student success.Qualifications and Experience:Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.Experience working with pediatric populations in school and healthcare environments.Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology techniques specific to school-aged children.Excellent communication and collaboration skills tailored to educational settings.Location: Barre, Vermont, with travel expected to adjacent sites including Twinfield and nearby districts.This onsite position provides the opportunity to make a tangible difference in children's lives through targeted speech and language interventions across several school communities.
