Sales Associate Job SummaryAt Blue Sky, we recognize the need for great Sales Associates to provide excellent customer service. To our customers, our Sales Associates are often the face of the company. The ideal candidate must be able to provide excellent customer service, be detail-oriented, have experience with cash handling, and be able to multi-task. This position is the step to becoming an Assistant Manager. Essential ResponsibilitiesGreets all customers “Welcome to My Blue Sky”Engages the customer in a friendly manner and assists in locating products throughout the storeOperate a cash register and accurately manage cashMaintain awareness of all items on monthly promotion, and practice suggestive sellingStock and front product on shelves to provide excellent product appearanceMaintain cleanliness of the sales floor, restrooms and the parking lot through regular monitoringAssists customers in BBQ/ Deli stores by properly serving food items in a food safe methodStocks cooler as sales demand or as directed by the ManagerMaintains cleanliness of food service areas regularly with proper sanitized cleaning methodsDemonstrate an adaptable and flexible work style, shifting tasks as priorities and circumstances changeUnderstands and follows through on Store Manager directivesImmediately notifies the Manager of safety issues and other store concernsMust manage own time to perform job functions, with customer service as the top priority. During slow times, constantly leaves the register area to monitor and maintain store cleanliness. Qualifications and SkillsMinimum High School education is requiredMust be outgoing and friendly to our guests, greeting them on entrance into the storeMust be helpful to meet customer needsMust be able to lift 30 lbs.Willing to learn and take on added responsibilitiesCan take direction from the Store Manager and execute appropriatelyOpen availability is preferredPI7949d2b4f220-30511-36128890
