OverviewVTG is seeking a talented and experienced ServiceNow Developer (mid to senior level) to join our team in Chantilly, VA. What will you do?Review code work for accuracy and functionalityDevelop ServiceNow tables, record producers, and workflowsDesign and develop Service Portal widgetsSupport data migration efforts using data sources, transform maps, and SQLIntegration support using REST, SOAP, and/or ServiceNow APIsCreate and implement design plansAnalyze code segments regularlyKeep up to date with industry trends and technology developmentsFlag risks as they arise and brief Senior Leadership with a mitigation strategy for addressing in the needed timeframeFacilitate code migrations and releasesOwn and be accountable for flagging stories/features to Tech Lead and ManagersUnit test storiesProvide transparent and frequent communication Do you have what it takes?Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or additional years of specialized experience in a scientific or technical discipline.2+ years experience developing forms, workflows, business logic, UI policies, and APIs in ServiceNow2+ years experience using JavaScript and scripting in ServiceNowAbility to work on a larger team and under a technical team lead to meet high priority roadmap milestonesAbility to work closely with a team of functional requirements analysts to clarify requirements, unit test, and demo work Preferred:Experience with data migration, creating transform maps, and SQL
