Key Responsibilities Perform machine setup, changeovers, and tooling adjustments for production runs. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues during setup and production. Conduct first-piece inspections and verify setup parameters meet quality specifications. Execute preventative maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment. Document setup procedures, machine performance, and maintenance activities. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize setup times and machine efficiency. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in machine setup, changeover, and adjustment in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Familiarity with quality control tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and basic troubleshooting. Understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a production setting. Bonus Qualifications Familiarity with PLC diagnostics and basic programming. Experience using CAD/CAM software for reviewing or modifying machine programs. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles. Prior experience with industrial robotics setup or troubleshooting.
