Harborview at Lansdale - Now Hiring Part-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)Location: Lansdale, PA Join our team and make a differenceHarborview Lansdale Rehab and Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide direct patient care and support residents in achieving and maintaining independence. Key Responsibilities of Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA): Deliver comprehensive, individualized resident treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Help residents achieve their goals using appropriate supplies, adaptive equipment, and care techniques. Communicate resident progress, challenges, and treatment plans with supervisors and the interdisciplinary team. Document resident care accurately in inpatient and departmental records in accordance with regulatory and corporate guidelines. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following departmental and facility procedures. Use proper body mechanics when lifting, transferring, and assisting residents. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications for Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA): Current Physical Therapist Assistant Registration/State Licensure from an accredited PTA program. Current CPR certification. Experience with geriatric, adult neurologic, cardiac, and/or general rehabilitation preferred. Ability to lift, bend, stoop, kneel, grasp, push/pull, and perform fine motor manipulation as needed for resident care.
