The Yard Manager is responsible for the management of all aspects of BoMac's yard in Beaumont, TX supporting the field operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinates all incoming and outgoing material and equipment orders from / to the yard. Oversees all loads & unloads through the yard. Responsible for coordination of materials and equipment requirements to ensure that necessary equipment is ready / available on assigned projects in a timely manner. Provides administrative support by maintaining files for all vendors, and equipment, produces month end reports, maintains employee safety files, yard inventory and office and yard supplies. Ensures that all safety procedures are adhered to. Assists in planning work schedules, determining workforce needs, material qualities, construction equipment requirements, and crew training needs. Plans, coordinates, and delegates work to crews. Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

An Associate's degree in business administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 years of relevant marine, equipment manufacturing, or warehouse shipping and receiving experience. Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation. Proficient experience and command using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). A proven ability to make decisions and follow through on commitments and who exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.
