Are you an experienced Tech II HVAC professional looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a skilled Commercial Site Building Senior HVAC/Refrigeration Tech II to join our team in New Castle, DE. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper functioning of our HVAC systems throughout our facilities. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and a passion for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. If you have a strong work ethic and a dedication to providing high-quality service, we want to hear from you.What you’ll do:Inspect, maintain, and repair building HVAC/Refrigeration systems to ensure proper operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves comfortable and safe work environmentBuild automation system to diagnose, troubleshoot and monitor system operations for optimal performance. Work with Building Management System (BMS) technicians to make adjustments/corrections to the BMS as neededReview assigned work orders in CMMS system. Estimating time and materials needed to complete repair. Maintain inventory and order necessary materials to complete all tasksAdhere and maintain to the preventive maintenance program to ensure that building equipment and systems meet or exceed their rated life. Complete maintenance and repair records as requiredRespond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as neededGeneral building repairs (Paint, plumbing, electrical, etc.)Ability to handle internal calls/tickets/needs from site operations teamFollow Safety/OSHA GuidelinesTroubleshoot complex controls/systemAssist Chief/Supervisor in managing the subcontractors as needed. Help mentor and train team membersWhat you need to do the job:3+ years of HVAC/Refrigeration experience or combination of education and equivalent experienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Universal CFC certification requiredMust be responsible for personal safety and the safety of those who are affected by your workAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents, mechanical drawingsComplete OSHA 10 within 6 months after date of hireMicrosoft Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift and carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or moreWork in multi-locations as neededSchedule: 8-4:30pm (Mon – Fri)
