Position: Engineer/DrafterCannon Companies is looking for qualified applicants to join our team as an Intermediate level Drafter. Our Drafters work closely with Project Managers to develop a plan for each job. Our company is striving to offer more to our customers from engineering, designing, planning and implementation of a project. This role will be the lead for our engineer/drafter team and the direct contact for our customers.Location: Milton, WAEssential Requirements:Bachelor's in Engineering (or 4-years of related work experience)Minimum 3-years professional CAD experience in Civil/Structural/ or Architectural design. Proficient utilizing AutoCAD 2016 or laterPossess excellent analytical skills and ability to problem solveBe willing to learn and able to adapt to changesHave a positive attitude and be highly motivatedBe organized and have a strong attention to detailMust have leadership/supervisor and/or management experienceHave a current valid Driver's LicenseBe able to pass a pre-employment Drug Screening and Criminal CheckPrimary Responsibilities:Assist design/engineering team in project support from initial concept, through final construction drawings.Create and prepare survey documentsCreate design and Traffic Control Plans for permit submittalsAs-Builting work of finished productPerform all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipmentBeneficial Skills:Knowledge of design programs other than AutoCAD is highly desiredTelecom knowledge and/or certifications are a HUGE plusAbility to read and understand complex prints for fiber slicing and equipment installationsUnderstanding basic civil engineering requirements and standardsRegistered Traffic Control Supervisor (for reviewing and stamping of TCP)BenefitsWe are a family company and offer company events throughout the year.
