Patient Rep I or II-154457 Description Expected Starting Salary Range: Rep I - $17 - $18/hr Rep II - $18 – 21.16/hr Fulltime - 40 hours per week Location: Cold Spring, KY (Primary Care) - Some shifts will also be worked at our Southgate, KY location. Shift: 8am-5pm Monday - Friday, 1-2 evening shifts may be required each week (10:30am-7pm), one Saturday per month is required from 8am-12pm. Investigate and resolve customer requests, questions or problems according to CCHMC policies and procedures. ●Support the Revenue Cycle, Health Information Management, and Regulatory by ensuring that the necessary data, information and forms are obtained and accurately entered into the appropriate system. ●Ensure patient safety by identifying the correct patient. identifying special needs and preparing isolation precautions for patients who have Infectious Disease indicators. ●Maintain confidentiality, protect and safeguard patient/family personal medical and financial information at all times during collection, use and storage. Access only information and records necessary to perform the responsibilities of the position. ●Complete and authenticate all documents and questionnaires that ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (JCAHO, CMS, ODH) Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Job Requirements: ●High school diploma or equivalent ● Rep I - 0 years related experience ● Rep II - 2+ years related experience Preferred Qualifications: ●Healthcare scheduling related experience ●Knowledge of EPIC or other similar EMR systems ●Proficient with MS Office, and Windows applications ●Medical terminology knowledge Cincinnati Children’s is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer that values and treasures Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
