Full-time Maintenance Technician II Needed to join our Richman Property Services team in Frederick, MD Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a community-inspired, passion-driven, team-oriented, full-time Maintenance Technician II with a can-do attitude to join our growing Maintenance TeamPosition: Maintenance Technician IILocation: Fieldpointe Apartments, Frederick, MD, our 252-unit multi-family residential community located in Frederick, MD 21701.What we are looking for:3-5 or more years of Apartment Maintenance Technician experience with multi-family residential communitiesEPA type I & II, or EPA Universal is strongly preferredExcellent customer/residential service skills, and overall communications skillsAbility to confidently work with teams and individuallyPenchant for curb-appealAbout Us:At Richman Property Services, Inc., we strive to provide high-quality apartment communities that our residents are proud to call home. We prioritize exceptional customer service and create secure, welcoming environments for our residents.Responsibilities:Execute and sustain daily repair and upkeep of the propertyPreparation of vacant units for occupancy within established deadlinesManage service requests and response times, ensuring completion within established deadlines while warranting responsive, efficient, and courteous customer serviceEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesAlways maintain a safe work environment and report any safety concerns/issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property ManagerUphold and demonstrate exceptional customer serviceSeek educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and developmentParticipate in on-going property preventative maintenance planAssist in team effort of maintaining curb appeal and general cleanliness of buildings and groundsComplete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely mannerCommunicate adequate inventory of maintenance supplies and partsRequirements:Education:High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferredExperience:Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance and general repair experience or GroundskeeperProficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.Must own basic tools as allowed by state lawsKnowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing LawsStrong organizational skills and ability to work independentlySkills & Certifications:EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferredValid Driver's License requiredProficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposesBenefits:Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits packageQuarterly Increase OpportunitiesMedical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage401(k) retirement plan with employer match of $0.50 for every $1.00 up to 6%Opportunities for student loan repayments and tuition reimbursementPaid sick time, vacation time, and opportunities for career advancement Join Our Team:Please Note:We conduct criminal background and drug screenings as part of our hiring process.
