Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services Full-time and part-time opportunities availableShift: 12PM- 8PM with EOW and EOHoliday rotation$16.50 an hourResponsibilities of Activities Aide: Facilitating daily, weekly and monthly events to encourage socialization and recreation for facility residentsObserving residents throughout the event and assisting with coloring, crafts, and other needsReporting medical concerns to supervisors if neededCrafting, coloring, decorating, playing games, etc. Qualifications for Activities Aide:Prior recreation/activities experience in a nursing home with dementia experience preferred.An ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.High School Diploma or GED.
