Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Meet with clients to identify potential graphics needs and material selectionsCalculate accurate quotations and price estimates when required Design graphics using Adobe software or similar programsMaintain a file management system and customer communicationsOrder and maintain an inventory of stock printing materials and signage substratesPrep files for print while utilizing optimal material usage and workflow efficiency Perform common print quality maintenance tasks on wide format printer (HP) Print, Laminate, Trim and apply cut vinyl or printed graphics to equipment, sign substrates, walls, vehicles or other areas Print, Cut, Hem, and grommet banners or screen fencing.Work with external vendors for signage needs beyond our capabilities and schedule external installations when necessaryUtilize Data Merge Software to automate numbered lists and barcodes for internal inventoryMaintain industry knowledge of wide format industry trends in technology, materials and capabilitiesCommunicate with other departments to request custom or standard size pre-cut sign blanks and deliveriesMeet external customer deadlines while managing In-House Graphics needs (Yard expectations), including OSHA communications Bills customers accordingly and keep accurate billing recordUsing internal channel to promote yard signage capabilities Performs other duties as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1-3 years of graphics production related experienceDemonstrated computer proficiency, including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and PhotoshopWell-rounded knowledge of using a graphic cutter and large format printerSatisfactory verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customersAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceAbility to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goalsAbility to maintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresAbility to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others\Ability to self-motivate and work with limited supervisionPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience in the construction or graphics industry.Other:Ability to travel to jobsite if necessaryPhysical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by any employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
