Overview Principal Production Support Specialist - Core PlatformsThe Principal Production Support Specialist position within the Core Platforms team will play a critical role in supporting the operational health of the global payment network, transaction processing systems, and managing Issuer Identification Numbers (IINs). The role will be responsible for driving and managing the strategic relationship between Client Services and Infrastructure Services. Key responsibilities include assessing operational gaps in Global Operations, providing strategic solutions, maintaining alignment with industry best practices, and prioritizing client focus.The ideal candidate will havea 360-degree understanding of network operations and the payments landscape, have a proven risk mindset and keen eye for detail in a high-risk space as well as strong business analysis skills and the ability to leverage data.Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Managing the transaction processing network, including IIN (Issuer Identification Numbers) managementConducting hands-on data analysis and providing end-to-end business understanding of the payments landscapeManaging client enablement on the network and providing support Handling compliance issues, enablement, and remediationManaging settlement disputes and interdependencies between networksRefining operational procedures and SLAs to ensure full optimizationIdentifying gaps and areas for improvement within the operations teamBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certificationAt least 6 years of payments industry experience in technology, operations, customer service, marketing, finance or communications At least 3 years of experience with Excel or Google Sheets Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Communications or Marketing8+ years of payments industry experience in technology, operations, customer service, marketing, finance or communicationsSAFe (Scale Agile Framework) certificationExperience using SQLTeradata or Splunk knowledgeAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location.
