Job Overview: The primary role of the Wealth Planner is to provide administrative, client relationship and investment support to an advisor or team of advisors, including any and all daily, monthly, and annual tasks, research and reporting. The Wealth Associate I helps the advisor maintain his or her practice and deliver positive results for the advisor’s clients through their support role.The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent customer services skills (both verbal and written), and a proven ability to adapt to a changing work environment. Additionally, Wealth Associate I must work independently and confidently while managing established clients.Responsibilities:Independently hold routine meetings with established clients when neededAssist in executing trades for clients as needed to support the Financial AdvisorAssist Financial Advisors in investment research and financial planningDevelop customized asset allocation strategies and investment solutions for clientsProvide support for client relationship building and business development activitiesPerform business analytics as needed to support financial advisors in the growth of the businessAnalyze and interpret portfolio performance reviews and make recommendations to financial advisors for potential changeInbound client calls, schedule appointments, and prepare materials for client meetingsKeep client management systems up-to-date with client informationAssist with various documentation requirements for new businessManage account activities that are operational in nature – new accounts, cash management, transfers, and account maintenance (e.g., periodic distributions, debits)Conduct proactive outreach to clients and advisors on time sensitive activities (e.g., RMDs)Assume ownership of inquiries and requests; communicate with internal departments to ensure clients’ expectations for timely service delivery are metEducate clients on account services, capabilities, and new technology – eSignature, paperless statements, Account View (client portal), etc.Partners with Financial Advisor to strategize on opportunities to meet the needs of clientsWhat are we looking for?We’re looking for strong collaborators who deliver exceptional client experiences and thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. We value those who embrace creativity, continuous improvement, and contribute to a culture where we win together and create and share joy in our work.Requirements:Bachelor's degree2+ years of experience working with Financial Advisors, Branch and Home Office support teamsSeries 7 and Series 66 (or 63 & 65)CFP designationCalifornia Life Insurance License or ability to obtain within 120 daysPreferences:Experience in utilizing investment/planning tools to help deliver guidance on recommendations to clientsStrong customer focus, excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain complex information clearly and simplyProven ability to independently and efficiently manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environmentOrganized with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesOutstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build and foster relationships with clients, coworkers, and internal/external partnersStrong analytical skills and ability to research informationDemonstrates drive, initiative, and motivationProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM applicationsAble to utilize internal resources, training & self-service options available such as iKnow, Resource Center, LPLU, etc.Prior Customer Service experience financial services background requiredAdditional financial services certifications/designationsThe salary range for this role is $78,100 - $130,100#LPL-PAPay Range: $70,988-$118,313/yearActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
