Job Description This is a remote position. SIU Consultant Group is a full-service investigation firm committed to providing superior investigative services to employers, insurance carriers, public entities, third-party administrators, and legal counsel. We are seeking a reliable Remote Data Entry Typist to enter and update information in our digital systems. This is an easy, entry-level position focused on typing, checking documents for accuracy, and maintaining organized records. Training is usually provided, and tasks are repetitive and straightforward. Key Responsibilities Type and input data into spreadsheets, databases, or company software Review typed information for spelling, formatting, or data errors Compare data from different sources to ensure accuracy Organize files and keep digital records updated Follow simple guidelines for data formatting and file naming Report any missing information to supervisors or team members Perform basic clerical tasks as needed (sorting digital files, updating logs) Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Fast and accurate typing skills Basic computer knowledge (email, documents, spreadsheets) Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace Prior experience in typing or data entry Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, or Google Workspace Ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks Benefits 100% remote — work from home Flexible schedule Easy workload with predictable tasks Entry-level friendly — great for beginners RequirementsEducation & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in insurance investigations, law enforcement, or related field. High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion. Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments. Proficient in investigative software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
