Refers customer concerns to the appropriate staff member or supervisor as necessaryInitiates search for materials claimed “returned”Processes library materials for shelving and routingPerforms opening or closing duties as assignedAssists with the maintenance and display of the collectionAssists customers with the use of a self-service payment kioskWorking Conditions Library environment requiring evening and weekend availabilityAbility to cover shifts at nearby library branchesAbility to lift up to 20 pounds floor-to-waist; lift up to 5 pounds waist-to-shoulder, lift 1 pound shoulder-to-overhead, carry up to 10 pounds a distance of up to 50 feet, and push/pull up to 50 pounds a distance of 100 feetSelection ProcedureOnly the most qualified candidates will be consideredConsideration will only be given to candidates who submit online applicationsCandidates will be contacted primarily through email and their Workday online application profileMust pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitiveMaricopa County is an equal opportunity employer.Apply Now
