Mid-Level Employee Development SpecialistCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company’s Renton Foundational Training Center has an exciting opportunity for Mid-Level Employee Development Specialist to join our 737 Training team in Renton, WA.The 737 Training team is responsible for the delivery of Technical Learning Solutions for the Fabrication, Assembly, and Delivery of Aircraft and other Aerospace Products. As an Employee Development Specialist within 737 Training team, you will handle a diverse range of responsibilities to assist our Production Operations and Quality Business Partners.Position Responsibilities:Conduct learning requirements analysis and establish learning objectivesDeliver content and assess effectiveness based on learning objectivesConduct coaching sessions to improve individual or group performancePerform as an instructor in a specialized content area from one or more of the following areas of Aerospace Skills expertise: Electrical, Structural, Quality, Systems, etc.Facilitate learning events and knowledge transfer by teaching and team coaching, observing and tracking student performance, adding key insights to enhance the delivery, conduct preparation, delivery and rostering of training to satisfy training requirementConduct training utilizing a variety of delivery methods and techniques, and customizes learning programs, courses, presentations and guidesEmphasize safety precautions to be taken in all training providedMaintain a positive and productive learning environment, and address any problem behaviors in the classroom promptly in accordance with policiesPerform individual and group assessments, and recommend process and performance improvementsConduct Train-the-Trainer Sessions to qualify additional instructorsUnderstand regulations and standards, ensure delivery of courseware complies with commercial, government, regulatory and organizational standards and specificationsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing supportExperience in coaching, instructing or as an employee development specialistExperience designing and employing leadership development courseware and/or curriculumExperience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawingsPreferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):Aerospace Manufacturing and Lean Certification(s)Experience with Structural, Repair, Seal, Systems, etc.Experience as a mechanic working with structural, mechanical, or other systemsExperience in the following areas: Structure/Wing/Spar Assembly, Needs Assessment and Job AnalysisDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
