Job OverviewWe are seeking a vigilant and professional Unarmed Security Officer to service our customers in the Las Vegas area. The unarmed security officer will protect property, assets and personnel of our contracted site/customer. This role requires a highly responsible individual capable of maintaining safety and security in various environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in unarmed Security with the ability to respond effectively to emergencies and maintain order.DutiesMonitor premises and report findings when needed.Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety and security.Respond promptly to alarms, incidents and/or emergencies.Enforce security policy and procedures regarding the post orders to prevent theft, vandalism or unauthorized access.Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills.Document incidents thoroughly through detailed reports.Assist with loss prevention strategies to safeguard assets and inventory.Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary during investigations or incidents.Perform access control duties by verifying credentials and maintaining secure entry points.SkillsValid and active PILB Unarmed Guard Card.Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or security operations as a guard is preferred.Strong surveillance skills preferred.Excellent conflict management and de-escalation abilities.Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols.Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.Strong Communication skills.Strong report writing skills for incidents and shift reports.Ability to work independently with a high level of integrity and discretionThis position offers an opportunity to serve in a critical role ensuring safety and security.
