A skilled CT and X-ray Technologist is needed to support advanced imaging services at an acute care hospital in Fairfax, VA. This contract opportunity involves working four 12-hour night shifts per week (Monday-Thursday, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), with guaranteed 36 weekly hours, weekend coverage, and on-call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will hold certification in CT technology, possess x-ray tech capabilities, and have 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting.Key Responsibilities:Perform computed tomography (CT) and X-ray imaging procedures accurately and safelyCollaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality diagnostic imaging for patientsMaintain imaging equipment and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standardsAdhere to scheduling, call, and float requirements as needed to support department operationsDocument procedures thoroughly in the electronic health record systemQualifications:Certified CT Technologist with valid credentialsCertified X-ray Technologist skills and ability to perform both modalities1-2 years of relevant clinical experience preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to patient careFlexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and take call as requiredAbout the Location:Fairfax, VA, offers a vibrant community with a mix of suburban comfort and urban amenities, making it an appealing place to live and work.
