Come join our team where you can expand your career potential, benefit from our robust development opportunities, and enjoy meaningful workThis analyst position presents exposure to Webster Bank’s Treasury function, which is responsible for managing the bank’s balance sheet by overseeing asset and liability management, capital, funding, liquidity, and portfolio management. The Portfolio Management team is responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies to align the bank’s investment portfolio with strategic goals and the economic environment. The analyst will be expected to meaningfully contribute to projects and tasks while working closely with teams across the bank including accounting, compliance, corporate responsibility, credit risk, internal audit, legal, operations, and tax.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Assisting with securities trade executionAssisting with investment portfolio reportingAssisting with governance of other bank permissible investmentsAssisting with governance of BOLIAssisting with risk management responsibilitiesAssessing current economic and market trends and impact on portfolio strategyEducation, Skills, and Experience Requirements:2-4 years of relevant experienceKnowledge of banking industry, economics, fixed income, regulatory requirementsResourceful, organized, and proactiveDemonstrated high attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsMicrosoft Office Proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Bloomberg and Yieldbook Proficiency is a plusThis role has a hybrid work schedule and can be based in our NYC location. The estimated base salary range for this position is $110,000 USD to $120,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
