How you will provide patient care:Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnoses, and treatment for psychiatric patients with a variety of psychiatric diagnoses, including admission evaluationsWork with nurse practitioners, nursing and other clinical staff in the delivery of patient careCall coverage optionalMay provide supervision to medical students and residentsMay be eligible for a faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine Practice Perks:Interdisciplinary teams including medical support with experienced and passionate staffActive inpatient and outpatient ECT ServiceHigh degree of collegiality amongst our staffBroad continuum of care spanning both inpatient and outpatient servicesAcademic Affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine Who you are: Enjoy working with the Adult Patient populationDoctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree or foreign equivalent medical degree and completion of a four year general psychiatry residencyBoard certified or board eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Adult Psychiatry, or by a comparable foreign national certifying organizationPossess a full license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Possess or be eligible to obtain a Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration and Federal DEA Certificates Tufts Medicine is a leading integrated health system bringing together the best of academic and community healthcare to deliver exceptional, connected and accessible care experiences to consumers across Massachusetts.
