Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Residential in DALLAS, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting patrols and maintaining a visible presence within a residential community. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed10:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns as observed during patrols.Operate as an armed security professional in accordance with local laws and Allied Universal guidelines.Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and staff while maintaining a visible presence.Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or authorizations as required by site procedures.Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with any additional security-related tasks as needed.Minimum Requirements:At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.An armed guard card or license is required.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
