Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging, is seeking a qualified candidate interested in Extruder Assistant at their VR1 facility located in Villa Rica, Georgia. Applicant must be willing to work any shift.Pay: 18.14 - $27.20 depending on experiencePlus an additional $2.50 per hour for the night shift premiumSchedule: 12 hour - Night Shift 7:00pm – 7:00am on a 3/2 scheduleBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, Life – after 30 days of employment401K with company matchHourly Bonus ProgramTuition ReimbursementAnnual reviews with a potential for a pay rate increaseUp to $120 for steel toed shoesUp to $135 for uniformsUp to $125 for prescription safety glassesOvertimeMinimum Requirements:HS Diploma or GEDAbility to accurately read a tape measureAbility to be self-directed and multitaskAbility to lead and manage the performance of othersTimelinessAbility to obtain forklift license and operate forkliftAbility to use a computerAbility to calculate/countAssist Extrusion/Laminating line in order to:Ensure your own safety while operating the machine and that of those assisting with operationsManage the duties of an assistant including, but not limited to:Prepare printed rolls for lamination (primary unwind)Prepare back stock rolls for lamination (secondary unwind)Place rolls in machine and prepare for splicing (both unwinds)Assist in removing rolls from rewindRemove and weigh startup rolls at beginning of jobKeep box resins stocked and ensure wand is placed in resinClean NIP roll in machine during setup and downtime to prepare for startupPerform daily housekeepingRemove and weigh waste from both unwindsRemove and weigh waste from rewind if necessaryMake waste bales when baler is fullEOE F/M/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Disabled/VetPrintpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
