OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Plant Manager to lead our facility located in Mt Vernon, NY, 10550. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. If you are passionate about driving operational excellence and fostering a collaborative team environment, we want to hear from you Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure production goals are met. Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and operators to foster a high-performance culture. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Monitor production metrics and prepare reports for senior management. Collaborate with other departments, including supply chain and quality assurance, to optimize operations. Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to meet production demands. Manage employee schedules and time off Manage employees performance reviews Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in a plant manager role. Familiar with ITAR and AS9100 standards Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards. Knowledge of Precision Manufacturing and Gearing Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset. Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma principles is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
