Why You'll Love This Job: Competitive Pay: Average $1,312 per week ($68,224 per year) Starting pay: 60.5 cpm Average of 2,000 miles per week $20.50 stop pay (average 5-8 stops per week) Detention and breakdown pay available Home Daily: Enjoy consistent home time Set schedule: Wednesday - Saturday, 1:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., Sunday 3:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Types of Freight: Hauling food products, miscellaneous goods, and furniture to major retail locations across Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina Mix of reefer and dry van loads (reefer experience is not required - training provided) 100% no touch freight Route Flexibility: Opportunity to bid on new routes twice a year Seniority-based bidding process, allowing you to select the best route for your schedule (next bid will take place in late March) Some routes include backhaul opportunities CDL-A Dedicated Local Truck Driver Benefits: Paid time off including 8 paid holidays Health Insurance: Medical, dental, vision and hearing coverage starting as low as $40.20/week (individual) and $105.90/week (family) after 30 days Profit Sharing: Monthly direct deposits into your retirement account Referral rewards: Cash bonuses for referrals Career Growth: Opportunities for local, regional, and leadership roles within Averitt
