Senior Program ManagerLocation: Land O' Lakes, FLEmployment Type: Full-Time | On-SiteReports To: VP of Operations Summary:Our client is seeking a Senior Program Manager to take the reins of high-impact, technically complex programs across the defense, aerospace, and industrial sectors. This role is a critical leadership position responsible for driving strategic programs from concept through delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and stakeholder satisfaction throughout. As the primary interface with major customers and internal teams, you'll lead multi-disciplinary efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with direct influence over operations, budgets, and long-term customer relationships. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned program leader who thrives on bringing structure to complexity and takes pride in delivering results in high-stakes environments. Candidates should bring a strong background in technical program management, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of compliance and manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities:Lead multiple large-scale, cross-functional programs from kickoff to final deliveryAlign program execution with technical, contractual, and financial objectivesDevelop and maintain revenue forecasts and provide regular performance updates to leadershipAct as the senior point of contact for key customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retentionCoordinate efforts across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Test, and Purchasing teamsTrack and manage program KPIs including cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfactionIdentify risks early and develop effective mitigation and recovery plansOrganize and lead program status reviews, design reviews, and customer meetingsMaintain control over scope changes, deliverables, and contractual obligationsMentor and support junior program managers or coordinators as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field-or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 8 years of experience in program or project management within a manufacturing or technical environmentStrong leadership, communication, and customer-facing skillsExperience managing defense/government contracts and compliance-driven projectsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and ProjectSkilled in managing multiple high-priority programs concurrentlyStrong attention to detail with excellent time management and follow-through Preferred Qualifications:PMP certification (or equivalent formal project management credential)Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001:2015, and NIST 800-171Prior experience working with major defense and aerospace companies (e.g., Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, L3Harris)Background in electronics or power systemsHands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and technical documentation If you're ready to take the lead on programs that matter-with the resources, support, and autonomy to make a measurable impact-we want to hear from you.
