We are seeking a highly skilled SDET – Data Test Automation Engineer with API and UI testing experience to join our dynamic team.As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the integrity of our AI/ML and Data Platform, and to enhance our testing capabilities with UI and API automation. The candidate will work closely with development and product teams to deliver robust, scalable and high-performing data test tools.Job responsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain automated test scripts for API and UI testing with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build test automation solutionsConduct data testing using Python frameworks like Pytest and BehavePerform UI test automation using Playwright/Selenium and API testing with PythonCollaborate with development and product teams to identify test requirements and strategies.Analyze test results, identify issues and work on resolutions.Ensure that automated tests are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience3+ years of experience in Design and Development of Test Automation solutionsStrong programming skills in Python and hands on experience with framework - Pytest and BehaveHands-on experience with AWS services like S3, LambdaStrong experience with API and UI test automation tools and libraries - PlaywrightExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and solid understanding of agile methodologiesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsGood to have experience with AWS Bedrock, SageMaker and DatabricksFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Docker, KubernetesExperience with cloud tools like Kubernetes, EKS, AWS Glue, ECSExperience with building performance tests using Locust
