Software Team LeadOASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking a Software Team Lead to support our ARMY/MDA customer onsite at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. Job Responsibilities include: Lead a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.Use C++ and Java to design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable software applications.Lead development of Gitlab CI/CD pipeline and workflow capabilitiesMaintain and enhance existing software, ensuring optimal performance and reliabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverablesPerform code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standardsTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issuesParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenanceMinimum Requirements:Capability to lead a medium size team of s/w developers, and willing to share knowledge and mentor others.Significant experience in C++ and JavaStrong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns10+ years of experienceBachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Cyber, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline: however, 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.Active Secret ClearanceProficiency with development tools and environments, including version control systems such as GitlabExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levelsRequired Education: Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Cyber, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline however, years of experience may be substituted for a degree.Eligibility: Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
