Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Cybersecurity or Information Technology

Job Description Summary Wentworth Institute of Technology’s School of Computing & Data Science invites applications for an open-rank position in Cybersecurity beginning August 31, 2024. This individual will be responsible for: Teaching both undergraduate and master’s level information technology and cybersecurity courses Engaging in research and scholarly activity Performing service to the university and the profession, which includes academic advising, student engagement, and serving on committees. Required Education: M.S. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related discipline. Preferred Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related discipline. About Wentworth & SCDS: Founded in 1904, Wentworth Institute of Technology is an independent, co-educational, nationally ranked university offering career-focused education through 24 bachelor’s and 13 master’s degree programs in areas including Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Architecture, Design, and Construction Management. The school has teaching and research strengths in artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, high-performance computing, mobile/web application development, stochastic processes, dynamical systems, financial math and modeling. In addition, members of the school have close collaborative relationships with faculty in sciences, humanities, and electrical and computer engineering, among others. Advertised Preferred Qualifications Particular attention will be given to candidates with a background in cybersecurity, offensive security, network security, software security, malware analysis, digital forensics or information technology.
