Join Amazon Healthcare Finance Operations Services as a Revenue Cycle Manager focused on transforming healthcare financial operations. In this role, you will serve as a key leader in optimizing revenue cycle management, with particular emphasis on front end revenue cycle processes and customer excellence. You will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative programs to enhance front-end financial processes, including intake, insurance verification, and point-of-service collections. You will drive process improvements aimed at reducing denials, accelerating cash flow, and improving net revenue. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop scalable solutions that support Amazon Health's continued growth. Through data-driven insights, you will identify opportunities and implement industry best practices to drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings strong operational leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, demonstrates exceptional analytical capabilities, and has a proven track record of driving process excellence and financial improvements.The Finance Operations organization works with every part of Amazon to provide procure-to-pay, revenue-to-receipt, real-estate and facilities, operations accounting and operations excellence services with the highest level of controllership at the lowest cost to the company. We provide the backbone systems and operational processes which completely, accurately, and validly pay Amazon’s suppliers, invoice our customers and report financial results. Amazon is quickly building the Finance Operations capabilities in the healthcare industry by creating the Healthcare Finance Operations Services.Key job responsibilitiesIn this strategic role, you will oversee a comprehensive portfolio of revenue cycle initiatives, focusing primarily on enhancing front-end efficiency, accuracy, and automation capabilities to reduce denials and improve the customer experience. Your responsibilities will include building strong operational partnerships and leveraging data analytics to identify process defects that contribute to denials, followed by designing and implementing innovative solutions to eliminate these challenges. You will play a crucial role in improving the customer financial experience through targeted excellence initiatives.As a technology-forward leader, you will lead the evaluation and implementation of new front-end tools, and contribute to emerging AI initiatives, and explore the use of robotic process engineering (RPA) to remove low value work tasks. Your expertise will be essential in developing and executing detailed process improvement plans that emphasize standardization, scalability, and automation, with specific focus on enhancing time-of-service collections, reducing claim denials, improving customer satisfaction metrics, and minimizing bad debt write-offs.Working collaboratively across the organization, you will represent accounts receivable interests in upstream projects and partner with business stakeholders on optimization efforts. You will be responsible for developing strategic recommendations to support ongoing system design and automation initiatives. Additionally, you will coordinate cross-functionally to analyze data drivers, develop comprehensive insights, and present clear, actionable findings to key stakeholders.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)- 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience- 6+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience in a hospital or physician provider setting- 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experienceAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
