Job DescriptionOverviewA specialty surgical hospital in the Dallas area is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager of Surgical Services to lead perioperative operations across cardiovascular, spine, and hybrid OR environments. This hospital features advanced surgical technology, minimally invasive platforms, and a comprehensive program supporting high-volume spine procedures and complex cardiovascular cases.The Nurse Manager oversees operating suites, sterile processing, anesthesia support, and perioperative nursing teams—driving performance through strong leadership, clinical excellence, and a focus on safe, efficient surgical care.ResponsibilitiesProvide operational, clinical, and administrative leadership across Surgical Services, including CVOR, spine ORs, hybrid suites, anesthesia techs, and sterile processing.Collaborate with perioperative leadership and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality care.Maintain accountability for staff performance, workflow management, resource utilization, and regulatory compliance.Evaluate and improve quality metrics in alignment with perioperative standards and industry guidelines.Support supervisors and OR staff in daily operations, ensuring timely case flow and excellent patient experience.Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.Oversee approximately 60 FTEs while supporting weekly surgical volumes of 30–40 spine cases and 25 cardiovascular cases.QualificationsRequired:Minimum 2+ years of Surgical Services leadership experience, including ability to scrub or circulate.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).Current RN license (Texas or Compact).Current BLS certification.Strong understanding of operational, financial, and staffing needs in perioperative services.Preferred:Master’s degree in Nursing or related field.CNOR certification (required within one year if not currently held).Experience supporting cardiovascular, spine, and hybrid OR environments.Strong organizational, communication, and team leadership skills.Additional InformationCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement plan with employer match.Tuition reimbursement, certification support, and continuing education opportunities.Employee stock purchase program.PTO, family leave, disability benefits, and wellness programs.Counseling resources and optional voluntary benefits.Ideal ForPerioperative nurse leaders seeking a high-impact Surgical Services management role.OR managers experienced in cardiovascular, spine, and hybrid OR settings.Leaders skilled in team engagement, workflow optimization, and performance improvement.Keywords / HashtagsNurse Manager OR, Surgical Services Nurse Manager, Perioperative Leadership, Operating Room RN Leadership, CVOR Manager, Spine OR Manager, Dallas RN Jobs, Texas Nurse Leadership #NurseManagerOR #PerioperativeRN #SurgicalServicesManager #ORLeadership #DallasRNJobs #TexasNursingCareers #CVORRN #SpineORRN #NurseLeadership
