Field Service Technician -17797DescriptionField Service Technician provides internal and external service/repair support to Field Repair.What you will be responsible for:● Must be able to travel to remote job sites at various locations INCONUS and OCONUS within 24 hours’ notice. ● Perform in-depth inspections of various types of equipment and submit detailed write-ups to the Repair Service Coordinator for quote process. ● Perform major and minor field repairs in austere environments as directed. ● Complete warranty work as directed.● Be able to read and interpret blueprints.● Fabricate sub-assemblies from aluminum and steel raw material. ● Install mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies. ● Functionally test sub-assemblies and end items to drawing requirements.● Assist Shelter Tech.
