Together, we go above and beyond to make an impact in the lives of our patients and customers.We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, hardworking people to join Alcon As a Manufacturing Associate supporting our manufacturing site, you will be trusted to work with Production Technicians and Electro-Mechanics at Johns Creek, GA.In this role, a typical day will include:Constructing, solving problems, calibrating, adjusting, testing, diagnosing, and maintaining equipment, components, devices, or systemsWorking from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructionsOperating related equipment; conducting tests, and reporting data in the prescribed formatPerforming calibration and alignment checksMaking adjustments, modifications, and replacements as advisedPreparing prescribed compounds and solutionsWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:High School Diploma or EquivalentThe ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in EnglishMA Assessment is required for internal candidates only before hire if no technical degree or certification has been acquiredWork hours: 36 - 48 hours per week (12-hour rotating day shift: 2 days on, 2 days off, and every other weekend)Travel Requirements: 0%Sponsorship & Relocation Not AvailablePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:Associate Degree in Engineering/Science/IT or Technical CertificationPrior manufacturing experience is a plusHOW TO THRIVE AT ALCON:Collaborate with teammates to share standard processes and learnings as work evolvesSee your career like never before with focused growth and development opportunitiesJoin Alcon’s mission to provide outstanding, innovative products and solutions to improve sight, improve lives, and grow your careerAlcon provides a robust benefits package including health, life, retirement, flexible time off for exempt associates, PTO for hourly associates, and much more
