Primary Skills: Organization-Expert, Minute-Taking-Advanced, Communication-Expert, Onboarding-Intermediate, NMLS-Knowledgeable Contract Type: W2 Location: Mountain View, CA(#LI-HYBRID) Duration: 12 Months Pay Range:$105 - $107 #LP Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Corporate Paralegal to support our subsidiary corporate governance programs effectively. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in attending and documenting Board meetings, preparing corporate resolutions, and leading Director and Officer onboarding processes among other duties. This position requires close collaboration with the corporate legal team to ensure the smooth operation and compliance of subsidiary governance. Key Responsibilities: Attend and take minutes at quarterly Board of Director meetings for various subsidiaries, ensuring materials are signed and current on the governance platform. Capture follow-ups and prepare for subsequent meetings, along with scheduling ad hoc board meetings and necessary trainings. Lead Director and Officer onboarding tasks, including training and scheduling for notary, fingerprints, and background screenings. Prepare corporate resolutions and manage the tracking of policy and procedure updates requiring board approval. Work closely with the corporate legal team and perform other duties as required to support subsidiary governance. Must-Have Skills: Highly proficient in Outlook, Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides. Strong experience in minute-taking for board meetings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Industry Experience: Experience in the legal or corporate governance domain is preferred. Past work with NMLS and state licensing processes would be beneficial.
