Join us.SummaryWe are currently seeking a Portable Grinder to work 2nd shift at our plant located in Cudahy, WI. 2nd shift is Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm. Essential Functions Receives carbon, alloy and high density steel stock requiring grinding. Checks metal surfaces for defects as directedOperates portable grinder, positioning wheel against metal surfaces to remove excess metal, fins, burrs, seams, defects, etc.Exercises care and judgment to avoid damaging contour of stockChanges grinding wheel for efficient operation. Uses hand tools as neededPlaces processed stock in proper container for further routingMaintains identity, i.e.: serial, heat codes, etc.RequirementsBasic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturingMinimum of 6 months' experience meeting production goalsMinimum of 6 months' forklift experienceMust be able to read and write in English.
