Position Overview:The Director of Senior Living Sales (DSLS) leads sales and marketing initiatives for Majestic Care’s Senior Living segment. This role is responsible for driving occupancy and revenue growth through strategic planning, sales process optimization, training, and marketing execution. The DSLS partners with community leadership and the operational team to recruit, onboard, and develop sales talent, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. While the DSLS does not directly manage Sales Directors, it leverages influential leadership to maximize productivity and performance across communities. Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Team DevelopmentReport weekly on all activities and results to leadership; review reports with Executive Directors and Sales Directors during site visits.Coach, train, and assist Sales Directors to improve performance and achieve goals.Motivate sales teams through effective leadership and positive reinforcement to enhance culture and retention.Interview and screen sales candidates to ensure alignment with success criteria.Manage mystery shopping and competitive analysis programs.Maintain accurate market and competition reports; advise leadership on pricing strategies and market conditions.Support development of educational modules to enhance selling skills.Assist in establishing and maintaining compensation plans for Senior Living sales teams. Sales Strategy & PerformanceHold overall responsibility for achieving move-in and occupancy goals for each community.Monitor daily census reporting and track weekly sales activities, benchmarks, and conversion ratios.Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed goals.Demonstrate proficiency in CRM systems and train others as needed.Conduct site audits and assessments of sales processes; travel extensively to communities served by Majestic Care.Ensure quarterly competitive analysis plans are accurate and up to date.Maintain working knowledge of state waiver programs.Marketing & OutreachCollaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop and execute marketing strategies.Ensure compliance with marketing standards, including lead generation, events, tours, and community outreach.Assist in development of annual marketing budgets; review monthly financials and variances.Oversee quarterly marketing planning and analyze trends to provide actionable insights.Maintain adequate collateral materials and ensure effective use of marketing dollars. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.Minimum of five years of senior living sales experience (Independent Living, Assisted Living, or Memory Care preferred).At least three years in a multi-community or regional sales leadership role with supervisory experience.
