Aligned around a shared purpose, our $3.9B company and 16,000 people work alongside our clients, here and abroad, to tackle their most complex challenges with integrity, respect, responsibility, and professionalism.The Asset Forfeiture Consultant will complete a comprehensive review and pass down of all case related work to staff, to include the following topics: Process for conducting pre seizure analysis, to include but not limit to, net equity analysis, developing “exit strategy” and preparation of recommendations to Investigative Analysts (IAs), the . Attorney’s Office (USAO), and MLARS staff. Procedures for performing technical and factual research, while recognizing potential issues, and making recommended solutions. Process for monitoring and supporting of financial reports for businesses being managed under seizure or forfeiture actions. Process for district liaising by providing: (1) guidance relative to complex financial assets; (2) support for preparation of annual Asset Forfeiture Fund audit samples; and (3) other support as required. ResponsibilitiesTransfer of case workload to new government staffTraining staff in pre-seizure analysis process and proceduresTraining staff in proper research protocolsTraining staff in financial reporting for operating businessesTraining staff in acting as a liaison between districts QualificationsMinimum QualificationsEducation: Equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained may be substituted for education, if degree is required.Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related fieldCertifications: Certificate in Financial Crimes InvestigationsExperience: At least ten (10) years’ experience with government asset forfeiture and seized property programsOther Requirements: Basic familiarity with the Spanish language to assist with cases in Latin AmericaSkills and Technology Used: Advanced analytical and financial forensics skills to assist in money laundering investigationsProfessional communications skills to coordinate actions between districts and other stakeholdersAt V2X, we are deeply committed to both equal employment opportunity, including protection for Veterans and individuals with disabilities, and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
