You’ll work directly with experienced scientists and managers, performing sample preparation, analysis, and quality control to ensure results meet strict ISO/IEC 17025 standards.If you’re detail-oriented, curious, and ready to grow with a mission-driven team, this is your opportunity to make an impact in one of Alaska’s fastest-growing analytical labs.Compensation:$60,000 – $80,000 annuallyResponsibilities:Receive, log, and process environmental and materials samples for analysis.Perform laboratory tests following approved EPA, ASTM, and NIOSH methods.Conduct sample preparation, dilutions, extractions, and instrument runs (e.g., GC, ICP, HPLC) under supervision.Maintain accurate data entry and chain-of-custody documentation in the LIMS system.Calibrate, clean, and maintain analytical instruments and lab equipment.Support the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and participate in internal QA/QC activities.Adhere to the Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP), safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Collaborate with peers and management to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.Qualifications:Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field. Equivalent technical experience considered.Experience: 1–5 years in an analytical, environmental, or materials testing laboratory preferred.Knowledge of EPA analytical methods and ISO/IEC 17025 standards is a plus.Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.Ability to follow detailed procedures and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Comfortable working with chemicals, instrumentation, and lab automation software (LIMS, Excel, or equivalent).About CompanyAt Tundra Testing, precision isn’t just a promise — it’s our mission.
